Through utilising basketball as the medium to open up academic, leadership and life experiences. As a result, basketball can be utilised to develop well rounded, educated & community service focused individuals who contribute to society in a positive manner.

The Mainland Eagles Academy was established in 2014.  The role of the Mainland Eagles Academy is to support development pathways for junior players & coaches throughout the South Island to open opportunities for National teams, US College scholarships & career pathways.
