Carl Isitt to attend Central Methodist College
Congratulations to Carl Isitt who has committed to attend Central Methodist College to study and play basketball. Carl will complete a bachelor of science majoring in business. Carl has grown up in Christchurch and attended Papanui High School. Central Methodist College is located in Fayette, Missouri.
The CMU Eagles Head coach Jeff Sherman has been at the school for 32 years and are coming of a great 27-6 season. They compete in the Heart of America Conference.
Carl said “Im really looking forward to heading over and to get stuck into training and preparation for the season. Im excited to be part of the program that Coach Sherman has created.” Eagles Academy Coach Ben Sheat commented “Carl’s size and ability to shoot the ball will really help him fit into the Central Methodist program. Im looking forward to following Carl and the team’s progress throughout the season.”
Carl will head over to start school in August while the teams first game against Park University will be on the 1st of November.

The Mainland Eagles Academy was established in 2014 by the Canterbury Regional Basketball Foundation (sister organisation of the Canterbury Rams) to support male and female players throughout the South Island to pursue their dream of pursuing tertiary education & basketball excellence both in New Zealand and the United States.
