2026 MAINLAND EAGLES INDUCTION CAMP INVITATION & NEWSLETTER
Dear Athlete,
On behalf of the Mainland Eagles Academy, we’d like to invite you to participate in the upcoming “Mainland Eagles Academy Induction Camp”.
A small group of athletes from throughout Canterbury have been selected for this exciting camp, after consultation with BBNZ staff, national program coaches, Mainland Eagles coaches, school coaches and associations. The Induction Camp will be focusing on preparing the Christchurch-based athletes for the upcoming year while the Summer Camp at the end of the year will be for South Island-wide athletes.
The camp will be held in Christchurch at the Parakiore Stadium, Central Christchurch (a detailed schedule will be provided in the next communications camp).
- Camp Commences: Saturday 7 February, 8.30am
- Camp Concludes: Sunday 8 February 5:00pm
- Venue: Parakiore Stadium – 50 Saint Asaph Street

CAMP PAYMENT & APPAREL DETAILS:
Cost: Will be required to complete the registration and payment section on the link included. The cost for the camp is $250.00 and includes all coaching and facilities – lunch & recovery food provided (not dinner).
Athlete Apparel: Official Mainland Eagles Apparel is required for all sessions during the camp. Any athlete without Mainland Eagles apparel will be required to purchase the ME Apparel Pack (includes reversible training gear, shorts, and T-Shirt). The cost for the Player Pack is $185.00. Sizing can be completed during the online registration process.

Financial Assistance & Payment Plans: While the event has been heavily subsidized by the CRBF we understand costs can be a prohibitor for families. We want to work with families to ensure that athletes can still benefit from attending the camp so please contact Faith Harrison for more support around finances payments@crbf.org.nz
WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP:
- Mainland Eagles gear (singlet & shorts)
- Uniforms for new athletes will be distributed at the start of the camp.
- Drink bottle
- Personal sweat towel x 2
- Strapping tape (if required)
- Prehab gear if required.
- Pens
- Any medications (please inform camp staff if you are currently taking medication)
- Jandals (for between sessions)
- Your own compression garments (if you wear them)
SAVE THE DATE – 2026 SUMMER CAMP:
There will also be a Mainland Eagles Summer Camp held in December. Further information regarding this camp will be sent out later in the year.
